DSA Preparation for Interviews

Increased knowledge and popularity of DSA makes the selection process more competitive.
This complete program prepares students of any talent for the interview process which is imperative in the selection process. 
Led by  Kuo Po, Chief Creative Officer and Desmond Sim, Head of DSA Curriculum, who have successfully been training  primary school students since 2011.   

 

Our program has four modules :  

  1. Preparing the mindset : Expect the Unexpected   

  1. Practice of better speech : Speech technique   

  1. Developing a  Champion Mindset*   

  1. Interview technique and practice   

 

1.5 hours per week x 40 sessions  ( p5) / Total : 60 hours                         

1.5 hours per week x 20 sessions  ( p6) / Total : 30 hours

Preparing the Mindset:
Expected the unexpected

 

In this module, the student will experience exercises that nurtures their creativity, encourages their spontaneity and positivity to receive and respond to stimuli.
In cultivating their “Say Yes.." attitude, we will help to open their minds to possibilities of different scenarios and questions that occur during interviews. 

Better speech
Speech Technique   

Striving for clarity and audibility, the students will be taught elocutions skills with clarity in the intention of the content. Clear articulation depicts confidence and impresses an interview panel.   

Champion Mindset

 

Unique only to MindChamps Academie of Stars, this module focuses on nurturing “100% respect and zero fear” ™ differentiating the students from others. They learn to stand out amongst the rest of the DSA contenders with a Champion mindset, learning to present their unique self with confidence.   

Interview technique and practice

   

In the final module, the students will learn the vital interview technique and experience a mock interview to complete the program. Parents will be given a video of the mock interview  to assess the level of confidence of their child in preparation of the real DSA interview.
