Time for aspiring young actors to toughen up and compete for their place in a good DSA school using acting as a talent
An upgraded DSA Drama Bootcamp is back on 16-18 March 2022. With this edition, we’ll get our
P5-P6 students to toughen up as they sharpen the skills to compete for a place in a choice DSA secondary schools offering drama – including Theatre at the School of the Arts.
These three days of intensive learning focuses on improvisation skills, characterization and scene work. Crucial in this Bootcamp are the strategies for success in the inevitable interviews during DSA.
At the end of the camp, the theatre aspirants will put up a showcase for our invited panel of DSA alumni Theater students, most of which are now in SOTA, as well as for the parents. This will be followed by a Q and A session to find out more about the DSA experience as well as secondary school life.
The Bootcamp program is led by the original leaders of Direct School Admission Preparation program since 2010, Chief Creative Officer, Kuo Po and Head of DSA Preparation, Desmond Sim.
